It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and comes standard as a front-wheel drive. You can equip the Tiguan with the 4Motion AWD system that can send the power to the wheels that need it for optimized traction and control.

The interior offers leather or cloth seating depending on the trim, and you can fit up to five with the standard model. Some models can come with a third row that expands the passenger capacity to seven.
