There's nothing quite like a beautiful summer day filled with incredible automobiles, great music, delicious food, and community fun—and that's exactly what attendees enjoyed at the Munson Museum's Annual Antique & Classic Car Show. Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to once again sponsor this beloved annual tradition, which continues to bring together car enthusiasts, families, and visitors from across the Mohawk Valley for a day of automotive history and community celebration. As part of our sponsorship, we were excited to display a Ford Mustang, giving attendees the opportunity to admire one of today's iconic performance vehicles alongside some of the most memorable classics ever built. Year after year, we look forward to being part of this event and sharing our passion for automobiles with fellow enthusiasts. One of the highlights of the show is the incredible variety of vehicles on display. From the timeless charm of a Volkswagen Westfalia camper and the historic Ford Model T to the impressive lineup of beautifully restored Chevrolet Corvettes, every row offered something unique to discover. Whether your favorite vehicles are vintage cruisers, muscle cars, antique classics, or rare collector's models, there was no shortage of amazing craftsmanship and automotive history to appreciate. Beyond the vehicles, the event offered something for everyone. Families enjoyed live music throughout the day, a variety of local food trucks, and engaging children's activities hosted by the Munson Museum, making it a true community celebration for all ages. The weather couldn't have been better, creating the perfect backdrop for visitors to stroll through the displays, meet fellow car enthusiasts, and enjoy everything the event had to offer. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate a shared love of automobiles while supporting one of the region's premier cultural institutions. The Antique & Classic Car Show also serves as the exciting kickoff to the Munson Museum's week-long Sidewalk Art Show, making it one of the signature summer events in our community. At Steet Ponte Volkswagen, supporting our local community goes hand-in-hand with promoting safe driving habits for the next generation. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the recent Oneida County STOP-DWI High School Baseball and Softball Tournament, held Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd. The weekend-long tournament brought together multiple high school baseball and softball teams from across the area for a great event centered around teamwork, sportsmanship, and community awareness. More importantly, the tournament helped shine a spotlight on the critical message of preventing impaired driving and encouraging students to make safe, responsible decisions behind the wheel. As we enter prom season and the busy summer months, educating young drivers about the dangers of driving while impaired is more important than ever. The STOP-DWI program continues to play a vital role in raising awareness throughout our community, helping students understand the importance of planning ahead, making smart choices, and always prioritizing safety on the road.
