This resistance increases as you apply more pressure. If you step on the pedal and feel little resistance, this is a sign of a serious brake problem. The lack of resistance means the brakes will be slower to engage, increasing your braking distance and potentially leading to an accident. The low resistance is due to either an air bubble or other blockage in the brake hoses or a leak. Air bubbles can form over time in older brake fluid, and they block fluid movement through the hoses. A leak could be due to rusted brake lines, worn brake hoses, or any other damage to the braking system. We'll find the cause of the soft pedal and repair it so your brakes will work correctly again. Blue Exhaust Smoke Regular exhaust smoke is thin and sometimes difficult to spot. It doesn't have a strong smell, as the majority of dangerous gases produced by combustion have been converted into less harmful ones by the catalytic converter. Blue exhaust smoke, on the other hand, means oil leaks into the cylinders. Fuel and air mix are drawn into the engine cylinders, and the intake valves close to allow the fuel-air mixture to be efficiently compressed. Over time, particularly if your engine isn't regularly serviced, cylinder seals can fail, and oil will enter the combustion chamber. Oil can block the piston from moving, preventing combustion in the cylinder and causing a variety of other damage. We'll replace the worn seals to fix this issue. Worn Wiper Blades It's very easy to overlook the wiper blades, but they're vital for safe driving in wet weather. They're manufactured from high-quality rubber for strength and durability and are essential to provide clear vision. As time passes, rubber slowly loses its flexibility and cracks instead of flexing. As the cracks deepen, parts of the blades break off. Damaged wiper blades can't keep the windshield clean, leading to streaks and low visibility when you need it the most. In addition, the blades can scratch the windshield glass, potentially creating cracks. Our technicians can replace damaged blades in minutes, so you can drive safely.
